G’day! We’re Alison & Clinton Diss. Owners of The Mini Beast and Dissy Machinery.
Specialising in hobby farming equipment, Dissy Machinery is a family owned and run business located in Central Victoria.
Celebrating 10 years in business in 2019, Dissy Machinery opened in 2009 as a small retail reselling business and now imports hobby farming machinery directly from the manufacturer in China enabling them to sell at wholesale prices direct to the public.
After seeing such a high demand and having huge success with our ride-on mower rakes we decided to give them their own dedicated name and website to showcase them to the whole of Australia!
If anyone knows hobby farming machinery it is Clinton. Knowing every intricate detail, he is always on a mission to improve and perfect the machinery he imports and sells.
Living on a few acres with his family, Clinton gets the chance to test and work with the products he sells, making sure they suit the application they are intended for.
When he’s not at work you’ll find Clinton working around their property, spending time with his young kids and watching the Supercars!
Fun Fact: Whilst not much phases him, Clinton is afraid of spiders!
When she’s not running around after their two children, Alison is the tech and marketing guru of the business. Constantly seeking to improve their offer, Alison is always working in the background on their online offering and marketing campaigns.
Having been an IT nerd since high school she is always learning something new when it comes to the world of IT and online marketing.
Coffee drinker by day and prosecco drinker by evening, Alison loves to spend time with family and friends whenever she gets the chance!
Fun Fact: Alison is crazy about Christmas! You’ll find her listening to Christmas carols all year!
